Gold Price Drops by Rs. 3,0494, Per Tola in Pakistan, Now Reaches Rs. 452,233 in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Monday, June 8, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 3,094 to Rs. 452,233. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 2,785 and now stands at Rs. 386,987.

This decline follows a drop in international gold prices. The global spot price fell by about $30 per ounce, bringing it to around $4,297–4,339 per ounce. International factors like profit-taking, a stronger US dollar, and easing geopolitical tensions contributed to the fall.

Local gold rates in Pakistan are closely linked to the international market and the rupee-dollar exchange rate. Recent stability in the rupee helped moderate the drop. Jewelers say demand remains steady for weddings and festivals, but many buyers are waiting for further price corrections.

Analysts believe gold prices may stay volatile in the coming days due to global economic signals and oil prices. Investors often turn to gold as a safe asset during uncertainty. People planning to buy gold jewellery or coins are advised to check daily rates from trusted sarafa markets before making purchases.
