Several Deepal S05 buyers in Pakistan have expressed frustration over delayed deliveries, unclear booking updates, and poor communication from Changan dealerships. The complaints come as the locally assembled S05 continues to attract customers in Pakistan. Master Changan started volume production of the S05 at its Karachi plant in February.
One Islamabad buyer said they paid the full amount on June 23 and were promised delivery by the end of July. However, the vehicle has still not been delivered, with the customer saying they have received repeated excuses and changing delivery promises.
Another buyer said they booked the S05 at Changan Auto Islamabad I-9 and made full payment on July 11. They were promised delivery within a month or by mid-August, but by the last week of August, they had not received even a car allocation. The customer also claimed that calls to the salesperson and emails to customer support received no response.
A Lahore buyer said they booked the S05 in April and completed full payment in June after being told delivery would likely take place by the second week of August. However, they later claimed a sales manager told them the S05 was not currently in production and could not provide a delivery date.
The complaints have left buyers seeking clear delivery timelines, proper updates, and better communication from Changan. The S05 is currently listed at PKR 9.999 million on Deepal Pakistan’s official website.
