AirSial has expanded its fleet to 12 aircraft, overtaking Airblue to become Pakistan’s second-largest airline by fleet size, according to recent aviation reports.
The Sialkot-based private airline recently received its 12th aircraft, an Airbus A320, further strengthening its position in Pakistan’s competitive aviation industry. The new aircraft is expected to support the airline’s growing domestic and international operations.
AirSial began operations in December 2020 and has steadily expanded its network since then. The airline currently operates Airbus A320 aircraft and serves several domestic and international destinations. Its international network includes destinations in the Gulf and Saudi Arabia.
With 12 aircraft, AirSial now ranks behind Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in terms of fleet size, while Airblue has moved into third place with 11 aircraft, according to the latest reports.
The airline is also planning further expansion. Reports indicate that AirSial’s management has approved plans to add more aircraft as it seeks to increase flight frequencies and expand its route network. The company’s continued growth could also create additional employment opportunities in Pakistan’s aviation sector.
AirSial’s official website lists its fleet primarily as Airbus A320 aircraft, each configured to carry up to 180 passengers.
The latest expansion highlights the rapid growth of Pakistan’s private aviation sector and AirSial’s ambition to become a leading airline in the region.
