Pakistan has achieved a historic milestone in its space program as the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) successfully launched the country’s first fully indigenous Electro-Optical (EO-1) satellite. The launch took place at China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre and was streamed live from SUPARCO’s headquarters in Karachi.
