A special ceremony was recently organised to honour the dedicated men and women of the Pakistan Navy. During the event, 267 people, including officers, sailors, and civilians, were given military awards and commendation certificates to recognise their hard work and service.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the ceremony as the chief guest. According to ISPR, 13 officers were awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) for their outstanding contributions, while 11 more officers received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) for their excellent performance.

The ceremony also celebrated the efforts of senior sailors and crew members. Around 183 Master Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers, and sailors were honoured with the Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) for their dedicated service and commitment.

Alongside these medals, 60 officers, sailors, and civilians received commendation certificates for showing exceptional work and going above and beyond their normal responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by many senior naval officers, both currently serving and retired, who came together to applaud the achievements of their fellows. Such events are held to recognise the courage, professionalism, and dedication of Pakistan Navy personnel.

These awards and certificates motivate officers and sailors to keep giving their best for the country and inspire young people to join the Navy and serve with pride. The ceremony showed that the Pakistan Navy values the hard work and sacrifices of its people.
