The Ministry of Religious Affairs has said that only 23,620 people will be allowed to perform Haj under Pakistan’s private Haj scheme in 2025. This is much lower than Pakistan’s total Haj quota, which is 179,210 pilgrims for next year.
Because of this limit, more than 67,000 people who applied through private tour operators now face uncertainty. Many applicants are worried because they had made plans and paid fees but do not know if they will be able to go.
The Ministry has advised all applicants to check the updated list of approved private Haj companies. These lists are available on the official Ministry website and the Pak Hajj mobile app. Pilgrims should check their application status quickly to avoid any last-minute problems.
Officials have also reminded people that Haj visas must be issued before April 18. So, it is very important for all approved pilgrims to complete their documents on time.
To help pilgrims, temporary Haj camps will be opened in different cities. These camps will help people with paperwork, travel details, and any other issues they may face before leaving for Haj.
Meanwhile, the Senate Committee has asked the Prime Minister to step in and raise this issue with Saudi authorities. They want the private Haj quota to be increased so that more people can perform Haj through private arrangements.
Pilgrims are requested to stay in touch with their Haj operators and keep checking official updates for any changes in the plan or quota.
