The Pakistan Army has stepped forward to help the people affected by the recent floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by donating one day’s salary from its personnel and sending more than 600 tons of rations to the disaster-hit areas.

Relief operations are continuing in Swat and Bajaur, two of the worst-affected regions. Army helicopters are being used to deliver food, medicines, and other supplies to people stranded in remote villages. Rescue teams are working day and night to evacuate families trapped by rising water levels and landslides.

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has directed army engineers to speed up the repair of damaged bridges and to set up temporary crossings so that relief goods and rescuers can reach isolated areas more quickly.

The floods have damaged homes, roads, and crops, leaving thousands displaced and in urgent need of assistance. Relief camps have been established to provide shelter and basic medical care. The Army has assured that operations will continue until all affected families are provided with help.

Officials stated that the combined efforts of the Army, civil administration, and volunteers are crucial for overcoming the crisis. Citizens have also been urged to support relief activities in any way possible.

The Pakistan Army has reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the nation in every time of need, ensuring that no one is left behind in this difficult hour.
