Dubai International Airport (DXB) continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs, and Pakistan has played a major role in its record-breaking performance this year. From January to September 2025, DXB welcomed 3.2 million passengers from Pakistan, officially ranking Pakistan as the airport’s fourth-largest market.
During the same period, total passenger traffic reached 70.1 million, reflecting a 2.1% increase year-on-year. The momentum carried into the third quarter, where DXB recorded 24.2 million travelers, the highest quarterly figure in its history.
Pakistan’s strong presence at DXB is fueled by multiple factors, including tourism, business travel, family visits, and convenient transit routes to Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Dubai’s appeal as a global business and leisure destination continues to attract millions of Pakistani travelers each year.
Operational performance at DXB also contributed to the smooth travel experience. The airport reported excellent efficiency, with most passengers clearing immigration within minutes. To further serve its growing customer base, DXB is now working on upgrades to Terminals 1 and 3, ensuring improved capacity and comfort for future travelers.
With rising passenger numbers and expanding travel links, Dubai remains a top destination for Pakistanis, and 2025 reinforces that connection stronger than ever.
