Senior provincial minister Maryam Aurangzeb highlighted the respect Pakistan is receiving internationally, saying that the Prime Minister’s plane is given a salute whenever it enters any country. She described it as a protocol that shows the growing recognition of Pakistan’s status on the world stage.
Speaking to the media, Maryam Aurangzeb said that under the current government, Pakistan’s global image has improved significantly. She added that countries are now showing more respect for Pakistan’s leaders, reflecting the country’s enhanced diplomacy and international presence. The salute to the Prime Minister’s plane is one visible sign of this recognition.
Maryam Aurangzeb also spoke about domestic achievements, noting that development projects across Punjab are moving forward quickly. She mentioned improvements in infrastructure, public services, and governance, saying that the government is focused on delivering results for ordinary citizens.
The minister emphasized that international recognition and domestic development go hand in hand. Strengthening Pakistan’s image abroad, she said, helps attract investment and support for local projects. At the same time, visible progress within the country builds confidence among the population and shows that government efforts are yielding results.
Maryam Aurangzeb concluded that Pakistan is moving in a positive direction, with its leaders receiving respect globally and development projects benefiting citizens at home. She said these signs demonstrate both the growing influence of Pakistan internationally and the government’s commitment to progress domestically.
Observers note that protocol gestures like plane salutes are symbolic but significant, reflecting diplomatic respect and the status of a country’s leadership in international relations.
