The Pakistan Super League (PSL) marked a historic moment as Hyderabad’s newest franchise, the Hyderabad Kingsmen, was unveiled at Niaz Stadium in a spectacular ceremony.
Thousands of fans stayed past midnight to witness the event, which combined technology, entertainment, and city pride.
Team owner Fawad Sarwar, who purchased the franchise for Rs 1.75 billion per year, addressed the crowd and promised to build a competitive team that would make Hyderabad proud.
“Our goal is to give fans a team they can support and celebrate,” he said, emphasizing youth development and sports promotion in the city.
A highlight of the unveiling was a 700-drone show that illuminated the night sky, forming the team’s name and logo with breathtaking precision. Fireworks, music, and lively commentary added to the excitement, making it one of the most memorable PSL team launches in recent history. Spectators shared videos and photos across social media, capturing the scale and energy of the event.
