Ir@n Thr@tens Ukraine With Str!kes, Calls it a “Legitimate Target” Over Alleged Drone Support to Isr@el

An Iranian lawmaker has warned that Ukraine could be treated as a “legitimate target” for military action after accusing Kyiv of giving drone support to Israel in the ongoing Middle East conflict. The statement was shared on social media and has drawn international attention.

The official, who heads Iran’s parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, claimed that Ukraine’s alleged help to Israel makes it involved in the widening conflict. He cited Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which deals with a country’s right to defend itself if attacked. However, there is no public evidence confirming that Ukraine has provided drones to Israel.

So far, Ukraine has not officially confirmed such support. Kyiv has previously shared expertise and technology with allied nations to help defend against drone attacks, especially against Iranian UAVs, but it has never said it sent armed drones to Israel.

The threat comes amid an expanding conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, with strikes, missile attacks, and clashes continuing across the region. Iran has already threatened infrastructure in the Gulf and accused other nations of aiding its enemies.

International analysts say the warning against Ukraine risks widening tensions beyond the Middle East. Many experts and diplomats are urging restraint and dialogue, noting that unfounded accusations and threats can escalate conflict in unpredictable ways.

At this stage, the claims about Ukraine’s involvement remain unverified, and it is unclear whether Iran plans any actual military action against Ukraine.
