Balochistan has announced its largest budget ever, crossing the trillion-rupee mark for the first time. The total budget for the new financial year is Rs1,028 billion, with a surplus of Rs. 42 billion.

The announcement was made by Finance Minister Mir Shuaib Noshirovani during a session of the Balochistan Assembly. He also shared that this year’s development budget was fully utilized—something that had never happened before.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the budget focuses on the needs of the people. He said it will prioritize essential sectors like healthcare, education, and sustainable development. He made it clear that no funds will be used for politically-driven projects.

The chief minister also promised that the budget will be transparent and fair. He said every district will receive its share, and no area will be left behind. The goal is to improve living standards in underdeveloped regions and promote equal opportunities across the province.

This budget marks a major step forward for Balochistan. It reflects a serious effort by the government to ensure good governance, fair spending, and development that benefits everyone not just a few. With a focus on social welfare and long-term progress, the budget aims to build a better future for all citizens of Balochistan.

This historic move is expected to boost public confidence and bring real change, especially to communities that have long been neglected.
