Balochistan has announced its largest budget ever, crossing the trillion-rupee mark for the first time. The total budget for the new financial year is Rs1,028 billion, with a surplus of Rs. 42 billion.
The announcement was made by Finance Minister Mir Shuaib Noshirovani during a session of the Balochistan Assembly. He also shared that this year’s development budget was fully utilized—something that had never happened before.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the budget focuses on the needs of the people. He said it will prioritize essential sectors like healthcare, education, and sustainable development. He made it clear that no funds will be used for politically-driven projects.
