Korean Universities Announce Scholarships for Pakistani Students

by Ammnah

A new scholarship program will give Pakistani students the chance to study in South Korea. The courses are designed to match global industry needs and include fields like welding, electrical work, automobile engineering, software development, food technology, beauty, and social services.

The goal of the program is to help young Pakistanis build practical skills that can lead to jobs both in Pakistan and abroad. A special focus is also being given to support female students.

As part of the agreement, 20 female students from Lahore College for Women University and Home Economics University will receive full scholarships. Their tuition, housing, and other costs will be completely covered. This gives a great opportunity to students who may not have the means to study overseas.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed the news and said that this is a big step towards connecting Pakistani students with international education. He added that such programs will help improve technical education in the country.

The program is set to begin soon and may grow in the future, offering even more students the chance to study in one of Asia’s top education systems.
