Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has announced a price increase for several KIA car models, effective from July 1, 2025. The revised prices show significant hikes ranging between Rs. 95,000 and Rs. 700,000, depending on the model.
This decision affects some of the brand’s most popular vehicles, including the KIA Picanto, Stonic, Sportage, Sorento, and Carnival. Customers who place new orders or receive invoices from July 1 onward will be subject to the updated prices.
However, electric vehicle models like the KIA EV5 and EV9 are not affected by the price hike. Their rates remain unchanged, possibly to encourage the use of eco-friendly cars in line with global trends.
LMC has not given a specific reason for the increase, but market experts believe it may be due to rising production costs, increased taxes, or the weakening rupee against foreign currencies. The price jump may affect buyer decisions, especially for mid-range and large family vehicles.
KIA has been one of the fastest-growing car brands in Pakistan, and such changes in pricing may influence overall sales. Still, KIA’s electric vehicle lineup staying stable in cost might attract new buyers looking for sustainable options.
Customers are advised to check the new rates before placing orders or visiting dealerships.
