Due to safety concerns, the government has put a temporary ban on traveling from Punjab to Balochistan after 5 PM.
This decision comes after a recent tragic incident in Balochistan that resulted in the loss of passengers’ lives, raising fears about the safety of people traveling in the area.
Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, Usman Khalid, explained that public transport vehicles heading towards Balochistan will be stopped at the Bewata check post every evening. After 5 PM, no buses, vans, or other vehicles will be allowed to enter Balochistan until the next morning.
This action has been taken to protect the lives of passengers and make sure they reach their destinations safely during daylight hours. Officials believe that traveling in the evening or at night could expose passengers to more risks.
Transport companies and drivers have been informed about this new rule and asked to plan their trips accordingly. People who often travel on this route have also been advised to avoid starting their journey late in the day to prevent any problems at the check post.
Authorities have assured the public that this ban is only temporary and will be lifted once the security situation improves. They also said they are working on better safety measures to make travel between Punjab and Balochistan safer for everyone.
Travelers are urged to cooperate with officials, follow the guidelines, and stay updated about any changes in travel rules to stay safe on the road.
