Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a new direct flight between Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Sialkot, Pakistan. The service is designed to meet the growing travel demand between the two cities.
According to PIA, nearly 200,000 passengers fly this route every year. By offering a direct connection, the airline hopes to make travel faster, easier, and more comfortable for passengers.
This new service is expected to benefit many groups, including Pakistani expatriates working in Saudi Arabia, business travelers looking for quicker travel options, and visitors traveling for personal reasons. PIA officials believe that the direct link will not only improve convenience but also strengthen air travel ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The introduction of this route is part of PIA’s broader plan to expand its network and provide better travel options for its customers. Earlier in August, the airline also launched a special flight operation for Arbaeen pilgrims traveling to Najaf, Iraq. These flights were introduced after road travel to Iran and Iraq faced restrictions, making air travel a more viable option for pilgrims.
By adding both the Najaf special flights and the Riyadh–Sialkot route, PIA is showing its commitment to adapting to passenger needs and market demands. The airline hopes these changes will improve customer satisfaction and attract more travelers in the future.
