Some of Pakistan’s biggest cricket stars are coming together for a special cause. Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Babar Azam, and Kamran Akmal will take part in a charity exhibition match to support families affected by the recent floods.
The event, called “Khel Se Khidmat” (Service Through Sports), will be played on August 30 at the newly constructed Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar. The game will feature Peshawar Zalmi against Legends Eleven, bringing fans a chance to see top cricketers in action while contributing to flood relief efforts.
The stadium, which can seat around 17,000 spectators, has been prepared to host the big game. Tickets are available in different categories, including general, VIP, and VVIP enclosures.
Prices start at Rs 1,000 and go up to Rs 50,000 for the premium enclosures. Many senior officials, including the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and cabinet members, have already purchased high-priced tickets to show their support for the cause.
Organizers hope the event will generate a large amount of funds to help the victims of the 2025 monsoon floods, which caused widespread destruction and displacement in many parts of the country. The match is not only about cricket but also about uniting communities in times of crisis.
By combining the passion of cricket with the spirit of charity, “Khel Se Khidmat” promises to be more than just an exhibition match it will be a chance for fans to cheer for their heroes while making a difference for those in need.
