Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman has said that President Trump’s proposed plan for Gaza still needs more explanation and should clearly include the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
He explained that the plan, as it was announced, is more like a set of general principles rather than a detailed roadmap, and those principles will need further negotiation before anything can move forward.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that all parties should approach the proposal with an open mind and try to see it in a constructive way, rather than rejecting it outright.
He further pointed out that any future talks about how Gaza should be administered must involve the United States directly, instead of being shaped solely by Israel.
