Pakistan and Iran have signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen cooperation in media, broadcasting, and cultural exchange. The agreements mark a new step toward enhancing collaboration between the two neighboring countries through joint content creation and professional training.
The MoUs were signed between Iran National TV (IRIB) and several key Pakistani institutions, including Pakistan Television (PTV), the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), and other media organizations. The signing ceremony highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to use media as a bridge for cultural understanding and mutual development.
Under these agreements, both sides will co-produce television programs, documentaries, and news content focusing on culture, history, and social development. The partnership will also include joint training workshops, technical expertise exchange, and capacity-building programs to strengthen professional standards in the media sectors of both nations.
