Pakistan is set to export 100,000 tons of meat to Tajikistan, a move that strengthens regional trade and boosts Pakistan’s agricultural economy. This comes after similar agreements with Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, showing growing trust in Pakistan’s livestock and food quality.

The new deal, worth more than 50 million dollars, was discussed during a meeting in Islamabad between Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain and Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Sharifzoda. Both sides agreed to increase cooperation in agriculture and food security, an area that is becoming more important for many countries due to rising global demand.

Under this agreement, Pakistan will supply high quality meat to help support Tajikistan’s food system. The two countries also plan to work together in other agricultural areas, including fruits, vegetables, rice, and livestock development. They discussed removing technical barriers that slow down trade and introducing better systems to make the process smoother and more efficient.

This partnership is expected to help farmers, exporters, and businesses in Pakistan by opening more international markets. It will also support Tajikistan in diversifying its food imports and improving access to reliable food supplies.

Beyond trade, the agreement highlights the growing economic and cultural ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan. Both countries hope to build long term cooperation that supports sustainable farming, improves food quality, and brings economic benefits to people on both sides.

The export deal marks an important step forward in regional collaboration and shows Pakistan’s rising role in supplying food products to global markets.
