Customs Enforcement Quetta has carried out a major anti smuggling operation, seizing three luxury vehicles worth around Rs210 million. Officials said the action was taken after they received reliable intelligence about non custom paid cars being moved through the area.

During the operation, the Mobile Squad, working with other law enforcement agencies, intercepted the vehicles and took them into custody. The seized cars include two bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser V8s and a Lexus 450h, all high value models that are often used by influential individuals. According to officials, these vehicles were brought into the country without paying the required customs duties, making them illegal to use or sell.

The operation was carried out on the instructions of the Chief Collector (Enforcement) in Islamabad, who had shared specific intelligence with the Quetta team. Customs authorities noted that smuggling of luxury cars has increased in recent months, and such vehicles are often hidden or transported using different routes to avoid detection.

The department said the latest seizure shows their strong commitment to stopping illegal trade and recovering revenue for the national treasury. They added that strict action will continue against anyone involved in smuggling, regardless of the type or value of the items.

Investigations are now under way to trace the people connected to these vehicles and to determine how they entered the country. This successful operation is seen as an important step in controlling the smuggling network and ensuring that all imported vehicles follow proper legal procedures.
