Business Boom! Pakistani Exports to UAE Rise 22% to $1 Billion

Pakistan’s exports to the United Arab Emirates have surged by 22 percent over the past six months, reaching $1 billion, according to officials.

The strong growth reflects deepening trade ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, one of its key economic partners in the Gulf region.

The announcement was highlighted during the Dubai World Health Expo 2026, where Pakistani businesses received significant exposure.

Officials noted that improved visa facilitation helped ease participation for companies, allowing more firms to explore regional markets and connect with international buyers.

Under the Pakistan Pavilion, 40 local companies showcased healthcare and pharmaceutical products. The event featured 32 country pavilions and attracted traders from nearly 180 countries, offering Pakistan a valuable opportunity to promote “Made in Pakistan” goods on a global stage.

Representatives from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai played an active role in coordinating participation and supporting exporters.

They emphasized that consistent engagement at global expos strengthens brand recognition and builds long-term trade partnerships.

Experts believe the 22 percent rise in exports signals improving confidence in Pakistani products, particularly in sectors like pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, textiles, and food items.

With strong diaspora links and strategic geographic proximity, the UAE remains a vital market for Pakistan.

If current trends continue, bilateral trade between the two countries could see further expansion in the coming months.
