Hyundai Motor Company has introduced Pakistan’s first 8-seater Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Smart, priced at Rs. 2.1 crore. Alongside it, the company has also launched the 7 seater Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy variant at Rs. 2.3 crore. The launch marks Hyundai’s entry into Pakistan’s full size hybrid SUV segment.
The Palisade is known globally as Hyundai’s flagship SUV. It comes with a hybrid powertrain that combines a petrol engine with an electric motor to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. While full technical specifications for the local market are being shared gradually, international models feature a 2.5 litre turbo petrol engine paired with an electric motor, advanced safety systems, and multiple driving modes.
The 8 seater version is designed for large families and corporate users who need extra passenger capacity. It offers three row seating, premium interior finishing, digital displays, and advanced driver assistance features. The 7 seater Calligraphy trim focuses more on luxury, offering enhanced interior materials, upgraded infotainment, and additional comfort features.
Pakistan’s SUV market has seen steady growth in recent years, with buyers shifting towards crossover and hybrid vehicles. Rising fuel prices and growing awareness about fuel economy have increased demand for hybrid options.
With the launch of the Palisade Hybrid, Hyundai aims to compete in the high end SUV category and attract customers looking for a spacious, feature rich, and fuel efficient premium vehicle.
