he administration of the Two Holy Mosques has reported that Al-Masjid an-Nabawi experienced a notable surge in visitors last week, welcoming a total of 5,735,016 individuals. Among these, 527,152 came specifically to pay their respects at the shrine of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
This announcement comes on the heels of an earlier report indicating that, in the Islamic year 1445 AH, the mosque hosted 281 million visitors and worshippers. This marks an increase of 25 million visitors compared to the prior year, highlighting the growing dedication and attendance at this revered site.
Additionally, the report mentioned that 11 million people performed prayers and honored the Prophet’s shrine during this timeframe, reflecting an increase of 1.8 million from the previous year. This rise in numbers underscores the profound spiritual connection that Muslims globally feel towards Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, as attendance continues to grow year after year.
