Pakistani Rider Applauded for Returning 15,000AED ($4,000) Payment in Dubai

by Hameed

In an inspiring display of honesty, Muhammad Mohsin Nazir, a delivery rider from Pakistan working in Dubai, returned 15,000 AED to a customer who had accidentally overpaid him. The customer, a Polish expatriate named Kajetan Hubner, had mistakenly handed over 17,050 AED instead of 1,750 AED, not realizing the mix-up in currency notes.

Kajetan only noticed the missing money when he couldn’t find it in his hotel room after searching for two hours. Just when he thought he’d lost the money, Muhammad reached out to inform him of the overpayment and arranged to return the full amount.

Muhammad said he was surprised by the large sum when he found it at the end of his shift. Following his mother’s advice, he contacted Kajetan and made sure the money was returned. Moved by Muhammad’s honesty, Kajetan offered a 300 AED tip as a thank-you gesture, but Muhammad respectfully declined, saying his true reward would come from Allah.

This act of integrity has earned Muhammad praise and admiration, showing how one small act of honesty can make a lasting impact. His decision to return the money despite the generous tip reflects a deep commitment to his values, and it serves as a heartwarming reminder of the power of honesty in everyday life.
