During her visit to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was warmly greeted by Amjad Ali, a heart patient who had been transported from Bahawalpur by air ambulance. Upon seeing the Chief Minister, Amjad saluted her and offered prayers for her efforts.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her dedication to patient care and personally inquired about Amjad’s health, wishing him a quick recovery. She emphasized the importance of the Air Ambulance Service, stating that it is a right for the public and crucial for saving lives.
During her visit, the Chief Minister directed the authorities to speed up the completion of PIC-2, ensuring it is equipped with the latest machinery and facilities. She inspected the emergency ward and stressed the need for an effective administrative head to manage the new facility. Maryam Nawaz reiterated her commitment to improving healthcare services and providing the best possible care for patients in Punjab.
