The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has unveiled 26 new tourism projects aimed at attracting more visitors, improving tourism infrastructure and creating new employment opportunities across the province.
The projects are expected to focus on developing tourist destinations, improving facilities and making popular scenic areas more accessible and visitor-friendly. The initiative is part of the provincial government’s broader efforts to strengthen the tourism sector and increase its contribution to the local economy.
KP is known for its mountains, valleys, lakes and historical sites, including destinations in Swat, Chitral, Kaghan, Galiyat and other northern areas. Better infrastructure and tourism facilities could encourage both domestic and international tourists to explore these locations.
