DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has said that Pakistan has always chosen peace over war, highlighting the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos as a clear example of this approach.
While speaking to students at the Saylani IT Program in Karachi, he explained that the operation’s success should be seen as a win for peace, not just military strength. He emphasized that Pakistan’s goal is always stability, not conflict.
The students gave him a warm welcome and showed great interest in the session. Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif answered several questions related to national security, helping the audience understand how Pakistan’s military works to keep the country safe.
He also encouraged the youth to stay aware of national issues, study hard, and use their skills to build a better and stronger Pakistan. He reminded them that peace is the key to progress, and every citizen has a role to play in keeping the nation united and secure.
Throughout his talk, he made it clear that the armed forces of Pakistan are always ready to defend the country—but their main focus remains on maintaining peace and supporting the people.
The session ended with appreciation from the students, many of whom felt inspired by the DG ISPR’s words. His visit gave them a closer look at the army’s role and left them feeling hopeful about their future role in Pakistan’s success.
