The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has launched a modern and fully equipped data center at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, marking an important step toward digital transformation in the country’s aviation sector.
The new facility was officially inaugurated by Director General Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed. It has been designed to bring together all operational data under one system, helping airports work more efficiently and improving coordination across departments. With this system, airport operations can now be monitored in real time, making management faster, safer, and more reliable.
The data center will also support several upcoming digital projects, including the introduction of e-gates, free Wi-Fi services, and 5G connectivity at airports. These initiatives aim to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers and make airports smarter and more connected.
During the inauguration, the Director General appreciated the efforts of the project team for their hard work and commitment. Other officials also highlighted how this center will play a key role in shaping a more advanced, technology-driven airport system across Pakistan.
