Zong Launched New State-of-the-Art Cloud Intelligent Computing Center in Islamabad, Inaugurated by Federal Minister Shaza Fatima

Zong has taken a major step toward strengthening Pakistan’s digital future by launching a state-of-the-art Cloud Intelligent Computing Center in Islamabad.

The new facility, built to international Tier III standards, was officially inaugurated by Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication. Senior officials, industry leaders, and tech professionals attended the ceremony.

The new data center is designed to support Pakistan’s growing need for secure and advanced digital services. It will power cloud computing, enterprise solutions, AI development, IoT applications, and enhanced cybersecurity. With modern server systems and energy-efficient technology, the center reflects global best practices and promotes sustainability. Zong aims to use this platform to help businesses and government institutions adopt modern digital tools more easily.

Speaking at the event, the Federal Minister said the launch represents strong progress in Pakistan’s digital transformation. She highlighted the importance of improving digital infrastructure for economic growth, innovation, and job creation. She also appreciated Zong’s ongoing investments and their alignment with the government’s vision of a fully connected Pakistan.

Zong CEO Mr. Huo Junli shared that the new Cloud Intelligent Computing Center is a key step toward building a strong digital ecosystem in Pakistan. He emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting AI, cloud services, and network modernization to help drive the country’s technological growth.
