Ali Larijani, a senior Iranian political and security figure, reportedly shared a strong final message addressing the Muslim world before his death. In his statement, he said Iran remains firm in its position against the United States and Israel, despite growing tensions in the region.
Larijani expressed concern over what he described as limited support from Muslim-majority countries. He questioned why some nations were not standing with Iran during a time of conflict. He also criticized those who oppose actions taken against US and Israeli interests, saying such responses are part of a wider struggle.
In his message, he described the situation as a clear divide. On one side, he said, are the United States and Israel. On the other side are Iran and groups often called “resistance forces,” which include allied movements in the region. He urged Muslim countries to reflect on their position, suggesting that neutrality may not be possible in such conditions.
At the same time, Larijani stated that Iran does not aim to dominate the region. He said the country’s actions are based on defense and political principles, not expansion.
His message comes at a time when tensions in the Middle East remain high. Analysts believe such statements can further shape opinions and responses across the Muslim world, especially during ongoing conflicts.
