Director General of ISPR, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has accused India of using state-backed terrorism as an official policy to create unrest in Pakistan, especially in the province of Balochistan.
Speaking in an interview with a foreign news channel, he said that India’s political leadership has openly admitted its role in such activities many times. According to him, India’s main goal is to destabilize Pakistan through planned acts of terrorism and support for anti-state elements.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif pointed out Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor, as the key figure behind this network. He claimed that Doval has been managing and expanding India’s terror operations within Pakistan’s borders.
He further stated that India’s actions have not gone unnoticed globally. Countries like the United States and Canada have also accepted that India has been involved in sponsoring terrorist acts abroad. He suggested that recent incidents in these countries have exposed India’s hidden operations targeting different communities and creating security challenges in other nations.
The DG ISPR said Pakistan’s security forces remain alert and committed to exposing and defeating these threats. He emphasized that Pakistan will continue to raise this issue at international forums to show the world how India’s state policy is harming regional peace and stability.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif assured that despite India’s efforts, Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies are fully prepared to protect the country’s sovereignty and bring those responsible for such acts to justice.
