by Mahnoor Arif

The University of Karachi is starting a new German language course for people who want to learn this important European language. The program will be offered by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), one of the university’s premier research centers.

The course is called “Basic German Language Course – 2025” and will begin on November 4, 2025. It will run for four months, ending on February 12, 2026. This gives students plenty of time to learn the fundamentals of the German language.

Classes will be held twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, from 2 PM to 4 PM. This convenient schedule makes it easy for students and working professionals to attend without disrupting their regular activities.

The course uses a hybrid format, which means students can choose to attend classes either online from home or in person on campus. This flexibility makes the program accessible to more people across different locations.

One of the most attractive features is the affordable fee of only Rs. 5,000 for the entire four-month program. This makes quality German language education accessible to students from various economic backgrounds.

The program is being organized in partnership with the Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN). Most importantly, the classes will be taught by a German language expert from the Goethe-Institut Pakistan, the official German cultural organization known for its high-quality language instruction.

Interested applicants should note that the registration deadline is October 28, 2025. Learning German can open doors to education and career opportunities in Germany and other German-speaking countries.
