Pakistan claimed an impressive win against Zimbabwe, securing a 69-run victory in the T20 Tri-Nation Series match held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The strong performance helped Pakistan strengthen their position in the tournament and boosted team confidence ahead of the final.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Their opening pair gave the team a solid start, with Sahibzada Farhan scoring 63 runs and Babar Azam adding 74 runs through calm and confident batting. Together, they helped Pakistan post a challenging total of 195 for 5 in 20 overs. Their partnership put Zimbabwe under early pressure even before the chase began.

In response, Zimbabwe struggled to keep up with the required run rate. Pakistani bowlers delivered a disciplined and sharp performance from the start. The highlight of the innings was Usman Tariq’s brilliant hat-trick, which completely broke Zimbabwe’s momentum. He finished with four wickets, ensuring Zimbabwe could not build any long partnerships.

Zimbabwe’s Ryan Burl fought hard and remained unbeaten on 67, but he received little support from the rest of the batting lineup. The team was eventually bowled out for 126 runs, giving Pakistan a comfortable win by 69 runs.

This strong performance reflects Pakistan’s all-round improvement in batting and bowling under pressure. With this win, Pakistan has confidently moved ahead in the Tri-Nation Series, showing they are ready to fight for the title in the upcoming final.
