United Arab Emirates President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is set to arrive in Pakistan on December 26 for an official visit, marking a historic moment in Pakistan-UAE relations. This will be his first visit to Pakistan in his role as President of the UAE.

The visit has been confirmed by Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, who highlighted its importance for strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two brotherly countries. Pakistan and the UAE share long standing relations based on mutual trust, cooperation, and shared regional interests.

During his stay, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The two leaders are expected to hold detailed discussions on bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, energy, defense, and labor relations. Regional and global developments of mutual concern are also likely to be discussed.

The visit comes at a time when Pakistan is seeking stronger foreign investment and economic partnerships. The UAE has been a key supporter of Pakistan during difficult economic periods, providing financial assistance, investment opportunities, and employment for millions of Pakistani workers.

Officials believe the visit will help further deepen strategic cooperation and open new avenues for collaboration in various sectors. Several agreements and memoranda of understanding are also expected to be signed during the visit.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s visit reflects the strong friendship between Pakistan and the UAE and is seen as a positive step toward enhancing political, economic, and people to people ties between the two nations.
