Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan (DIB Pakistan) has announced a major nationwide expansion with the launch of 75 new branches across the country in 2025, marking one of the largest banking rollouts in Pakistan this year.

The initiative, branded as the “Monumental Expansion” campaign, reflects the bank’s ambition to widen access to Islamic banking while connecting its growth strategy with Pakistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage. Through this campaign, DIB Pakistan aims to position itself as a trusted financial partner rooted in ethical values and long term community development.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz said the expansion represents more than just physical growth. He noted that the bank is focused on building lasting financial infrastructure that serves people across diverse regions, from major urban centers like Karachi to remote areas such as Gilgit. According to him, the goal is to bring inclusive and Shariah compliant banking services closer to underserved communities.

The expansion comes as DIB Pakistan prepares to mark its 20th anniversary in 2026, a milestone that highlights two decades of operations in the country. Over the years, the bank has steadily increased its footprint while strengthening its role in Pakistan’s Islamic banking sector.

By opening new branches nationwide, DIB Pakistan aims to support small businesses, encourage savings, and promote responsible financing. The move is also expected to contribute to job creation and local economic activity.

With this ambitious expansion, Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan reinforces its position as a key player driving sustainable and ethical economic growth across the country.
