BuyPass, Pakistan’s first dedicated video commerce platform, has recorded rapid growth just two months after its launch. Within 60 days, the platform crossed 300,000 monthly active users and reached 15,000 daily active users, marking a strong entry into the country’s digital retail space.
The platform introduced a new shopping format through Sheels, short shopping videos that allow users to discover products, watch demonstrations, and make purchases in one flow. BuyPass has also launched Pakistan’s first nationwide Shopping TV Channel, creating a direct link between television, mobile apps, and online buying. This approach blends entertainment with commerce and makes shopping more interactive for users across the country.
According to the company, the Shopping TV Channel now has 84 percent nationwide coverage and attracts more than 5 million viewers every week. This wide reach has helped BuyPass connect with customers beyond major cities, including smaller towns and semi urban areas where access to digital shopping platforms is often limited.
BuyPass currently hosts over 600 wholesalers, manufacturers, and retailers, offering a wide range of products across multiple categories. More than 300 micro influencers are actively promoting products on the platform, helping brands reach targeted audiences through relatable and engaging content.
Industry observers see BuyPass as a growing force in Pakistan’s e commerce market. By combining video content, influencer marketing, and broad distribution, the platform aims to change how people discover and buy products online.
With its early success and expanding user base, BuyPass is positioning itself as a key player in shaping the future of video driven retail in Pakistan.
