Pakistan’s taekwondo team made history at the 6th Asian Open (Kyorugi) Taekwondo Championship in Indonesia by winning a total of eight medals: three gold, three silver, and two bronze. This remarkable achievement is especially significant as it marks the first time that both male and female athletes from Pakistan have excelled so prominently at an international taekwondo event outside the country.
Held from October 14 to 17, the championship featured fierce competition. Pakistan topped the medal table, finishing in first place, with Kazakhstan in second and Malaysia in third.
