Pakistan Flights to Middle East Resume After US-Iran Ce@sefire

by Mahnoor Arif

Flight operations from Pakistan to several Middle Eastern destinations have begun to resume following the ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The easing of tensions has brought relief to passengers and airlines after days of uncertainty and travel disruptions across the region.

Authorities have confirmed that airspace restrictions over Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, and Qatar have been lifted. This development has enabled airlines to gradually restore flight schedules and resume normal operations.

Major airports across Pakistan, including Allama Iqbal International Airport, Islamabad International Airport, Jinnah International Airport, Bacha Khan International Airport, and Multan International Airport, have restarted multiple outbound and inbound flights. These services connect passengers to key regional hubs such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Doha, Jeddah, Dammam, and Kuwait City.

Officials have stated that while operations are resuming, complete restoration may take time due to remaining security protocols and logistical adjustments. Airlines are working closely with aviation authorities to ensure passenger safety and maintain reliable schedules.

The resumption of flights marks a positive step toward regional stability and provides much-needed relief to travelers, businesses, and overseas workers who rely on smooth connectivity between Pakistan and the Middle East.
