A grand passing-out parade was held at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Cadets from the 153rd PMA Long Course, 38th Technical Graduate Course, 72nd Integrated Course, 15th Mujahid Course, and 27th Lady Cadet Course proudly completed their tough training and were commissioned as officers.

Cadets from several friendly countries also graduated alongside Pakistani officers. These included young men from Palestine, Iraq, Qatar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Mali. Around 30 international cadets took part, showing the strong military ties between Pakistan and these nations.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, attended as the chief guest. He reviewed the smartly turned-out parade and awarded prizes to outstanding cadets. Despite light rain, the ceremony went ahead with full discipline and pride.

Bilal Nasim received the prestigious Sword of Honour for his excellent overall performance. Muhammad Saad Musa was awarded the President’s Gold Medal. Nepal’s Pobin Kunwar won the Chief of Defence Forces Overseas Gold Medal. Other awards, including the Marksman Medal, were also given to top performers.

PMA Kakul is known worldwide for producing highly trained and disciplined officers. This parade highlighted Pakistan’s role in training military leaders from friendly countries.
