CM Maryam Inaugurates Punjab Pavilion at World Urban Forum in Baku

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated the Punjab Pavilion at the ongoing World Urban Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan. The event is one of the largest global platforms for discussing urban development, sustainable cities, and future planning.

During her visit, CM Maryam Nawaz praised the efforts of the Punjab team for presenting an impressive pavilion. She said the Punjab Pavilion has received significant attention and appreciation from international visitors and experts. She was given a detailed briefing on various development projects and urban planning initiatives being showcased by the province.

Maryam Nawaz also toured different stalls at the pavilion. She showed special interest in stalls displaying modern technologies, especially those based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). She interacted with exhibitors and appreciated their work in presenting Punjab’s progress on the global stage.

Federal Minister for Climate Change, Musadik Malik, accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.

The Punjab Pavilion highlights the province’s ambitious development vision, modern urban transformation projects, smart city initiatives, and efforts towards sustainable development. It aims to attract international investment and collaboration in urban infrastructure and technology.

This participation at the World Urban Forum is an important step to showcase Punjab’s progress and development model to the world.
