The latest Mercedes-Benz E 200 Saloon has officially arrived in Pakistan, with the luxury sedan launched at a provisional ex-showroom price of Rs57.96 million. The model has been introduced by Shahnawaz (Pvt.) Limited, Mercedes-Benz’s authorized representative in Pakistan.
The new E 200 combines luxury, technology and performance with a mild-hybrid powertrain. It is powered by a 1,999cc turbocharged petrol engine producing 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with Mercedes-Benz’s 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, while the integrated starter-generator and EQ Boost system provide additional assistance during acceleration.
According to the manufacturer, the sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
On the exterior, the Pakistan-specification E 200 features Mercedes-Benz Digital Light technology, a panoramic sliding sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive high-beam assistance and a 360-degree camera.
Inside, the luxury sedan comes equipped with a 12.3-inch central display, MBUX multimedia system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and a Burmester surround-sound system. Comfort features include climatized front seats, memory functions, rear sunblinds and KEYLESS-GO.
Safety and driver-assistance features include Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist, Attention Assist, a centre airbag and tyre-pressure monitoring.
The Rs57.96 million price is provisional and ex-showroom, meaning registration and other applicable charges are not included. Customers are required to pay 20% of the order value when booking the vehicle.
