Next Level Creativity! Pakistani Sculptor Builds Metal Artworks from Scrap

by Mahnoor Arif

Pakistani sculptor Ehtisham Jadoon is gaining attention for creating large metal artworks from scrap. Working from his studio in Islamabad, he transforms discarded car parts and industrial waste into detailed sculptures of giants, animals, and famous characters.

Jadoon uses old motorbike springs, chains, nuts, bolts, and hubcaps to shape his creations. One of his most talked about pieces is a 14 foot tall model of Optimus Prime, built entirely from recycled metal. He has also crafted a powerful looking lion with a mane made from steel fragments.

What makes his journey unique is that he has no formal training in fine arts. Before becoming a sculptor, he was involved in martial arts. Over time, he developed a passion for metalwork and began experimenting with scrap materials. He visualizes shapes in broken parts and carefully welds them together. The process is physically demanding, often involving long hours, heat from welding, and eye strain.

Every week, he visits local scrapyards to collect materials. He says these visits inspire new ideas and help him see beauty in discarded objects. His work sends a clear message that waste can be reused in creative ways.

Art lovers and visitors admire his sculptures for their size and detail. Through his craft, Jadoon shows that creativity can turn ordinary scrap into impressive works of art.
