Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has applauded U.S. President Donald Trump for helping to mediate a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. Speaking to the media, PM Shehbaz referred to Trump as a “man of peace,” appreciating his role in promoting harmony, regional stability, and global trade.
He also acknowledged the support of friendly Middle Eastern countries that stood by the peace process, stating their efforts were vital in encouraging dialogue. PM Shehbaz highlighted that such international cooperation shows the world the importance of peaceful negotiations over conflict.
The Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s continued commitment to peace and emphasized the country’s desire to build positive relations with neighboring states. He said peace in South Asia is necessary for the progress of the region and the well-being of its people.
