Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile have announced a strategic partnership to make official Apple products more accessible to businesses across Pakistan. Under the agreement, JBS will become Mercantile’s preferred enterprise partner, giving companies a structured way to purchase, deploy and manage Apple devices through authorized channels.
The partnership will expand JBS’s technology portfolio beyond data centers and infrastructure to include Apple workplace and handheld devices. Businesses will be able to obtain Apple products in bulk while receiving support throughout the device lifecycle, including deployment, management, warranty and after-sales services.
The companies said the arrangement will also support Apple Business services, Automated Device Enrollment, Managed Apple Accounts and device-management guidance. These services are designed to help organizations centrally manage devices and apply security policies, particularly for businesses handling sensitive corporate and banking information.
Mercantile, an authorized Apple distributor in Pakistan, will provide warranty and after-sales support through Mercantile Care service centers. Services are currently available in Islamabad and Lahore, with a Karachi center also planned.
According to Mercantile Pakistan CEO Nauman Durrani, companies previously relied on informal markets or indirect purchasing channels for Apple devices. He said buying through formal, PTA-approved channels could save businesses up to Rs80,000 per handset compared with grey-market purchases.
JBS CEO Veqar ul Islam said adding Apple products would strengthen the company’s technology offering and help Pakistani businesses connect devices, infrastructure and AI-focused solutions.
