The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL), one of Pakistan’s major meat exporters, recorded sales of approximately Rs12.3 billion in the financial year ended June 30, 2026.
According to financial information available through the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s sales declined from around Rs14 billion in the previous financial year, reflecting a challenging period for the meat export industry.
TOMCL exports halal meat products, including beef, mutton and camel meat, to international markets. Its key destinations include Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, where demand for Pakistani meat remains important to the business.
The company’s financial performance has reportedly been affected by disruptions to trade routes and rising shipping and fuel costs linked to the Middle East conflict. These challenges have created difficulties for exporters transporting meat to regional markets.
Pakistan’s meat industry remains an important contributor to the country’s export earnings. Official data show that Pakistan exported meat and meat preparations worth approximately $530 million during fiscal year 2025–26.
Despite the decline in TOMCL’s sales, the company continues to operate in an industry with opportunities to expand international trade. Improved logistics, access to new markets and greater investment in processing facilities could help Pakistani meat exporters strengthen their position globally.
The latest results highlight the impact that international trade disruptions and higher transportation costs can have on Pakistani businesses that depend on overseas markets.
