IT Minister Umer Saif recently announced an exciting opportunity for Pakistani startups with global ambitions. The new BridgeStart program will support 100 startups annually, helping them secure spots in one of the top 40 incubators or accelerators worldwide, which are programs designed to boost business growth.
Empowering Pakistani Startups with Global Opportunities and Funding Support
This new program, inspired by the success of startups in renowned accelerators like Y Combinator and 500 Startups, aims to assist startups in overcoming the challenge of limited resources. It will provide up to Rs 5 million to eligible startups, covering expenses such as travel and accommodation abroad while participating in these international programs.
The goal of this initiative is to accelerate the growth of Pakistani startups by providing them access to more developed ecosystems and opportunities for securing funding to expand their businesses.
