Airblue, Pakistan’s popular private airline, has announced exciting news for travelers. Starting May 2, 2026, the airline will begin direct flights from Lahore to Baku, the beautiful capital of Azerbaijan.

This new route will run twice a week, every Wednesday and Saturday. The flight from Lahore (PA-468) will depart at 10:15 AM and arrive in Baku at 12:15 PM local time. The return flight (PA-469) will depart Baku at 1:30 PM and land in Lahore at 7:10 PM. It offers a smooth, nonstop journey that saves time and makes travel much easier.

Airblue started in 2004 and has grown into one of Pakistan’s leading private airlines. It flies modern Airbus planes and already connects major Pakistani cities with destinations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This new link to Baku marks another step in expanding its international network.

The new flights are expected to help more Pakistanis visit Azerbaijan for tourism, business, or to explore family and cultural ties. Baku is famous for its mix of old and new attractions, the historic Old City with the iconic Maiden Tower, the stunning Flame Towers, the long seaside boulevard, and nearby spots like Gobustan’s ancient rock carvings and mud volcanoes.

For many, this direct route means simpler planning and more chances to discover Azerbaijan’s rich heritage and warm hospitality. It also promises to boost people-to-people connections between the two friendly nations.

Airblue’s latest announcement has brought fresh travel options and new adventures closer to home. Bookings are expected to open soon, a great chance for those dreaming of a trip to Baku.
