Allied Bank ATM, Debit Card and Digital Banking Services to Remain Unavailable for 36 Hours

by Mahnoor Arif

Allied Bank Limited (ABL), one of Pakistan’s largest banks, has announced a major service disruption. From Friday, 5 June 2026 at 9:00 PM to Sunday, 7 June 2026 at 9:00 AM, all ATM, debit card, and digital banking services will be unavailable for about 36 hours.

This temporary shutdown is due to a scheduled system upgrade. The bank is improving its core systems to provide better performance, stronger security, and more reliable digital services to customers. During this period, customers will not be able to:

  • Withdraw or deposit money at ABL ATMs
  • Use debit cards for payments at shops, online, or POS machines
  • Access myABL mobile app, internet banking, or other digital channels
  • Make fund transfers, bill payments, or check account balances online

Allied Bank advised customers to plan ahead. People should withdraw enough cash, pay bills, and complete important transactions before the downtime starts. Branch banking services may also be affected in some ways.

The bank apologized for any inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience. Normal services are expected to resume fully after 9:00 AM on 7 June 2026.

This upgrade shows Allied Bank’s commitment to modernizing its technology and offering safer, faster banking in the future. Customers can contact the helpline (042-111-225-225) for urgent matters before the outage.
