Care Every Delivery! Foodpanda Sets Up 2,500 Rider Rest Stations Across Pakistan with Weekly Icecream and Movie Day

Foodpanda has launched a nationwide initiative to improve the working conditions of its delivery riders by establishing up to 2,500 rider rest stations across Pakistan.

The rest stations are designed to give riders a safe and comfortable place to take breaks between deliveries. Each location offers basic facilities such as seating, drinking water, mobile charging points, and shelter from extreme weather, helping riders recover during long working hours.

To further support rider well-being, Foodpanda has also introduced weekly ice cream days and movie days, giving riders an opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy some time away from work. The company says these activities are part of its broader effort to recognize the dedication of its delivery partners.

The initiative comes as Pakistan experiences rising temperatures during the summer months, making regular breaks and access to rest areas increasingly important for rider health and safety.

Foodpanda stated that investing in rider welfare remains a key priority. By expanding rest stations and organizing recreational activities, the company aims to create a more supportive and rewarding work environment for thousands of riders across the country.

The program reflects a growing focus on improving the daily experience of gig workers while ensuring they can continue serving customers safely and comfortably.
